BuildCo is a home-grown Austin-based contractor with a passion for fine-line carpentry and dedication to creating the best spaces for its clients.
BuildCo serves the greater Austin area including Spicewood Texas, Dripping Springs, Lockhart, and the Highland Lakes. We provide construction services for custom and ambitious residential projects and small commercial projects. We pride ourselves in providing a precisely executed product that mirrors the aesthetics sought by design teams and clients. We even love to dovetail structures with fine finishes for unique architectural experiences.

Joshua Cummins, owner of BuildCo LLC, has worked for twenty years in the construction industry. His award-winning projects have been featured on American Institute of Architect’s Austin Home Tour and publications like Dwell, Austin Chronicle and Wall Street Journal. Before starting BuildCo LLC, Cummins worked as a project manager for Pilgrim Building Company where he oversaw construction on projects such as the ‘green room’ for the world famous Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater and IIDA’s Texas Oklahoma Chapter (2012 Design Excellence Award for Residential Design). Previously, Cummins worked as site manager for Windcrest and master-carpenter for Inhabitation Inc and Pilgrim Building.

Pat Epley is the site supervisor for Buildco LLC. Pat was drawn to the construction industry at an early age in due to its creative applications and the opportunities it provides to execute and implicate design concepts. Growing up in eastern Montana and working 15 years at his family's concrete construction company, Pat gained valuable experience, both in the field and on site management. Upon arriving in Austin in 2011 Pat worked as a decorative concrete contractor for several years before moving into project management and project estimating. Pat has a keen eye for quality and a knack for navigate the unique demands of a construction project from the first meeting with the client to the final inspection.
